Precision cleaning redefined
Conventional basket-based cleaning systems typically process parts in undefined or variable positions.
The Shuttle System holds every component in a precisely defined orientation throughout the entire cleaning cycle.
This minimizes part-to-part contact, reduces damage risk, prevents jamming, and ensures highly repeatable
cleaning results — especially for sensitive precision components.
The fastest changeover in industrial cleaning
Shuttle exchange takes approximately one second and requires no tools. Compared to traditional basket washers,
single-chamber systems, or conveyor cleaning lines, there are no lengthy format changes, fixture modifications,
or mechanical adjustments. This makes the system ideal for high-mix manufacturing and frequent product changes.
Custom fixtures at the cost of a coffee
Shuttles can be customer-designed and produced as single-piece 3D-printed fixtures for only a few euros.
Expensive custom tooling becomes an affordable and highly flexible consumable component.
New products can be introduced quickly without long engineering or fixture lead times.
Automation-ready precision cleaning
Loading and unloading positions are located directly next to each other, enabling extremely simple automation concepts.
Robots or manual operators benefit from short handling distances and compact machine integration.
Unlike large conveyor systems or complex multi-bath installations, automation remains straightforward and cost-efficient.
12 cleaning steps in just 2 m²
The Shuttle System supports up to 12 individual process steps using 100 mm shuttles, including cleaning,
rinsing, and intermediate drying stages to reduce media carryover.
Compared to compact single-chamber machines, this enables significantly more process capability,
while requiring far less space than conventional multi-stage cleaning systems.
From batch cleaning to intelligent shuttle processing
Traditional basket washers typically operate in batch mode: parts are loaded together, cleaned together,
and unloaded together. The Shuttle System introduces a closed-loop, indexed workflow where every shuttle
moves through the process in a controlled sequence. This creates a highly automated and continuous cleaning flow
with cycle times as low as 4 seconds.
High throughput in minimal footprint
With up to 300 liters of component volume per hour, approximately 15 kW energy consumption,
and only 2 m² of floorspace, the system delivers an exceptional ratio of throughput to footprint.
Conventional conveyor systems often require substantially larger installations,
while single-chamber machines typically offer lower throughput at comparable space requirements.
Closed-loop cleaning for modern manufacturing
The system is designed around a closed-loop cleaning workflow using only two media:
cleaner and water. Intermediate drying stages reduce carryover between process steps,
improving media separation, process stability, and operating efficiency.
The key difference
Competing systems typically focus on either flexible basket cleaning, compact single-chamber operation,
or high-speed conveyor processing. The Shuttle System combines the advantages of all three:
defined part positioning, ultra-fast changeover, simple automation, customizable workpiece carriers,
and high throughput in an extremely compact footprint.
